In 1966 Umberto Vallati, skilled craftsman from a small village in the Marche region, decided to acquire a historic company in the field of knitwear founded in 1932. Driven by his passion for "the well done" and his overwhelming charisma, he begins to invest in the best technologies of production with a single purpose: to design, produce and distribute high quality knitwear all over the world. In 1970 the UMBERTO VALLATI brand was born and soon it made appearance in the best boutiques in the world.
